Your Weekly Cosmic Forecast: September 22-28, 2026

The sky at the exact moment of the autumn equinox, warm gold clouds tipping into cool violet-pink toward dusk.

Last week the Sun was still finishing its walk through Virgo, and if it felt like the universe was handing you a broom and a to-do list, that was on brand. This week the light tips. The equinox lands on Tuesday, the Sun crosses into Libra, and the whole conversation shifts from what still needs cleaning up to what still feels like a fair trade. The Aries Full Moon on Saturday is going to ask you the same question in louder handwriting, and by the following week Venus will be stationing retrograde in Scorpio, so this week is the doorway. Cross it gently.

The energy of the week

Tuesday's equinox is a hinge. The Sun enters Libra at 8:05 PM Eastern, and because Uranus is in Gemini and Pluto is in Aquarius, the whole week is quietly building a Grand Air Trine. It doesn't arrive on Tuesday all at once. The Sun perfects its trine to Pluto on Saturday, right alongside the Full Moon, and its trine to Uranus the following Monday. So the week opens the door and the week walks through it. Air trines aren't loud. They feel like clarity that shows up while you're doing something ordinary, like your best idea in months arriving at a stoplight.

Mercury is still in Libra through the weekend, so conversations that felt stuck a week ago get a second, more diplomatic pass. Venus is in Scorpio and slowing down, which anyone paying attention can feel already, a soft undertow in the relationship department. Mars is in the last degrees of Cancer, tender and a little tired, and on Sunday he crosses into Leo and remembers he has a body.

The peak is Saturday. The Aries Full Moon at 3 degrees hits at 9:49 AM Pacific, right on top of Neptune. Full Moons are cumulative, so you might feel it building from Thursday. Aries Full Moons ask about you, the individual, the one who wants what she wants. With Neptune stitched in, the answer might arrive as a feeling instead of a sentence, or a dream instead of a to-do. Both are valid data.

Retrograde watch: Saturn and Neptune are both retrograde in Aries, Uranus is retrograde in Gemini, and Venus is preparing to station retrograde on October 3. That is a lot of reevaluation energy underneath a week that is otherwise trying to move forward. Take the hint. Move forward with the parts that still feel true.

This is a rebalancing, revealing, and quietly courageous kind of week.

Your week ahead by sign

Aries (March 21 - April 19)
The Sun activates your 7th house of partnerships, which means every close relationship gets a soft spotlight this week, and the Aries Full Moon lands right in your 1st house on Saturday. That is your face in the mirror asking a very direct question. Mercury in Libra keeps the conversations civil, and Venus in Scorpio in your 8th house is stirring the deeper stuff underneath the polite ones. If you feel torn between what a relationship needs and what you need, that is not a problem, that is the assignment. You are allowed to answer slowly.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
The Sun moves into your 6th house of daily rhythms and health, and the whole week wants you to look at the small habits that keep you honest. Mercury in the same house means an errand, a checklist, or a doctor's note might carry more weight than it seems. Venus in Scorpio is in your 7th house of partnerships, so notice who feels effortless and who feels like homework. Saturday's Full Moon lights up your 12th house of rest and the unconscious, which is a fancy way of saying you might dream a truth you have been avoiding. Let it come.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Sun into your 5th house of pleasure, creativity, and romance turns the volume up on the part of you that plays. Mercury, your ruler, is right there with it in Libra, and the air trine building across the week, with Uranus in your own sign in the mix, might make something click that you have been circling for months. Venus in Scorpio in your 6th house of routines is asking whether the way you spend your Tuesdays is still bringing you joy on Wednesdays. Saturday's Aries Full Moon in your 11th house of community could bring a friendship into focus, gently or not so gently. Follow the fun this week. It is a valid compass.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
The Sun activates your 4th house of home, family, and the private life, and Mercury in the same house is bringing conversations to your kitchen table that have been waiting a while. Venus in Scorpio in your 5th house of romance and creative fire is asking what you actually love to make. The Aries Full Moon on Saturday lands in your 10th house of career and public reputation, and something you have been quietly building might get seen. Mars leaving your sign on Sunday is going to feel like taking off a jacket you did not realize was heavy. Rest is not a reward, it is your compass.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)
The Sun activates your 3rd house of communication, everyday movement, and the people who happen to be in your car, your text thread, or your inbox. Mercury in the same house makes this a beautifully productive week for saying the thing. Venus in Scorpio in your 4th house of home is stirring the softer domestic corners. On Sunday, Mars lights up your own sign for the first time in nearly two years, which is a giant deal for your engine. If you have been running low on courage, that changes this weekend. Saturday's Full Moon in your 9th house asks a bigger question about where you are going. Answer with your whole chest.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
The Sun enters your 2nd house of resources, values, and self-worth on Tuesday, which is the perfect follow-up to a Virgo season that asked you to do the work. Now the work asks what it is worth. Mercury, your ruler, is right there, so a number, a rate, or a boundary might click into place this week. Venus in Scorpio in your 3rd house of communication makes for tender conversations. The Aries Full Moon on Saturday lights up your 8th house of shared resources and depth, so an emotional truth about money, intimacy, or trust could rise. Let it. This is old news finding an exit.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Happy solar return, Libra. The Sun enters your sign on Tuesday and lights up your 1st house of self, and Mercury is right there giving you words for what you have been feeling. The air trine to Pluto perfects on Saturday and the one to Uranus the following Monday, which means the second half of your birthday week keeps opening doors, quietly. Venus in Scorpio in your 2nd house is quietly recalibrating your sense of what you are worth, and with Venus preparing to retrograde, that recalibration is going to keep going into October. Saturday's Full Moon in Aries in your 7th house of partnerships turns the volume up on a relationship, romantic or otherwise. Ask the question you have been rehearsing.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
The Sun activates your 12th house of dreams, endings, and the unseen, which sounds heavy but often feels like sleeping better and remembering more. Mercury there wants you to write things down. Venus in your 1st house is making you magnetic in a subtle, low-frequency way, and with Venus about to retrograde in your sign, you are stepping into a season of your own revision. Saturday's Aries Full Moon in your 6th house asks about your daily life, your work, and your body, and Neptune might blur the picture just enough that you finally see through it. Trust the fog.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
The Sun enters your 11th house of community, friends, and future-self, and Mercury in the same house is putting new people in your path with better conversations attached. Venus in Scorpio in your 12th house is asking what you are ready to release quietly. Saturday's Full Moon in Aries in your 5th house of romance and creativity turns up the fire, and with Mars joining Leo on Sunday, you are about to feel a Sagittarius kind of clarity about where you want to go. Say yes to the group text. Say yes to the walk. Say yes to the idea.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
The Sun activates your 10th house of career and public life, and if you have been building something quietly, this is the week the light finds it. Mercury there sharpens your communication with people who make decisions. Venus in Scorpio in your 11th house is stirring your friendships and your longer-range wants, and with Venus preparing to retrograde, some of those wants are about to get honest with you. Saturday's Full Moon in Aries in your 4th house of home asks how well the private life supports the public one. It is a fair question. Answer it kindly.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
The Sun enters your 9th house of expansion, philosophy, and the wider view, and Mercury there is filling your head with ideas that are bigger than your usual browser tabs. With Pluto in your own sign catching a trine from the Sun on Saturday, something you have been circling for months might finally land, in a way that feels like your own thought instead of a lecture. Venus in Scorpio in your 10th house is bringing a slow, deep re-examination of your work, and with Venus about to retrograde, you may find yourself returning to a career question you thought you had answered. Saturday's Full Moon in Aries in your 3rd house sharpens your voice. Use it.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
The Sun activates your 8th house of intimacy, shared resources, and the honest conversations most people avoid. Mercury there gives you the words for a conversation that has been waiting. Venus in Scorpio in your 9th house is romancing your future, so pay attention to what pulls you. Saturday's Aries Full Moon in your 2nd house of self-worth might land a truth about what you are worth and what you have been settling for. Neptune, your ruler, is right in the middle of it, which means the message might arrive as a feeling or a dream more than a sentence. Trust it anyway.

A practice for the week

Three questions, one for each morning, in this order:

Monday morning: What am I still carrying that is not mine to carry?

Wednesday morning: If nothing had to be earned this week, what would I choose?

Friday morning: Where in my life am I already in balance, and where is the scale tipped?

Then on Sunday, before the day gets loud, make a small pot of tea or coffee. Sit somewhere with a window. Notice which of the three questions you have been thinking about most, and let that be your compass into the next week. No journal required. No perfect answer. That is the whole practice.
