Your Weekly Cosmic Forecast: October 27-November 2, 2026

A Taurus Full Moon rising over soft rolling hills at night, a single oak tree silhouetted in the valley, tall grasses and sage in the foreground

Yesterday’s Full Moon in Taurus asked a simple but uncomfortable question: What in your life is worth holding on to, and what are you finally ready to release?

If something felt unsettled, this week invites you to sit with it rather than rush to put everything back in place.

Scorpio season is officially here, Mercury is retrograde, and Venus has made her way backward into Libra. The universe seems less interested in pushing us forward and more interested in asking us to look again. At our relationships. Our patterns. The things we say we value, and the choices we make when nobody is watching.

And with Halloween, Samhain, and Día de los Muertos arriving this week, themes of remembrance, connection, and the unseen feel especially close.

Something is shifting. Something is asking to be understood before it can be released.

The energy of the week

The Sun is moving through Scorpio, illuminating everything that lives beneath the surface. This is the season of transformation, intimacy, and the truths we sometimes avoid because we know acknowledging them might require us to change.

Mercury is also retrograde in Scorpio, having stationed on October 24. Until November 13, we’re being invited to revisit conversations, reconsider assumptions, and pay closer attention to what hasn’t been said. Old emotions may resurface. Someone from the past might reappear. A conversation you thought was finished could have another chapter.

But not everything that returns is meant to stay. Sometimes it comes back so we can finally understand it.

Venus, meanwhile, is retrograde in Libra after returning to her home sign on October 25. Venus rules love, beauty, relationships, and what we value. In Libra, the focus turns toward balance and reciprocity. Are your relationships giving as much as they’re taking? Are you honoring your own needs while making room for someone else’s?

On Wednesday, October 28, Venus opposes Chiron in Aries, bringing a particularly tender moment around independence, worthiness, and the ways we show up for others. An old wound may ask for attention, not because you’ve failed to heal it, but because you’re ready to understand it differently.

The Sun’s square to Pluto, exact on October 26, carries into the beginning of the week. This can bring power dynamics, control, and buried tensions into sharper focus. Notice where you’re gripping too tightly, or where you’ve been allowing someone else to hold the reins.

Then on Friday, October 30, Mercury retrograde squares Mars in Leo. Words may come out sharper than intended. Misunderstandings can escalate quickly, especially when pride gets involved. Not every thought needs to become a conversation, and not every conversation needs to become a confrontation.

Jupiter continues its journey through Leo, encouraging creativity, confidence, and the courage to take up space. Uranus retrograde in Gemini keeps challenging old ways of thinking, while Pluto in Aquarius continues its longer transformation of our collective relationship with power and community.

And then comes the weekend.

Halloween, Samhain, Día de los Muertos, and the days surrounding All Souls’ Day each carry their own histories and traditions. For many, this is a sacred season of remembering those who came before us, honoring loved ones who have passed, and reflecting on the connections that continue to shape our lives.

Whether you experience that connection spiritually, emotionally, or simply through memory, there is something beautiful about making space for it.

On Sunday, November 1, the Last Quarter Moon in Leo invites us to consider what we’re ready to release, especially when it comes to pride, recognition, and the need to be seen. Sometimes moving forward means letting go of the version of ourselves we’ve been trying so hard to maintain.

The Scorpio New Moon arrives November 9. Until then, we are in a period of reflection, release, and preparation.

This is a week for remembering what matters, releasing what doesn’t, and allowing the truth to meet us where we are.

Your week ahead by sign

Read for your Sun sign, and your rising sign too, if you know it.

Aries (March 21 to April 19). Scorpio season is illuminating your eighth house of intimacy, shared resources, and emotional vulnerability. Mercury retrograde may bring an old financial conversation or unresolved emotional exchange back into focus. Meanwhile, Venus retrograde in your seventh house asks you to reconsider the balance within your closest relationships. Are you making room for your own needs, or only responding to someone else’s? Wednesday could feel especially personal. You don’t have to choose between independence and connection. The right relationships leave room for both.

Taurus (April 20 to May 20). You’re coming off a Full Moon in your sign, and this week is the exhale. The Sun and Mercury retrograde in your seventh house are bringing relationships into focus, particularly the conversations you’ve been avoiding or the dynamics you’ve quietly accepted. Venus, your ruling planet, is retrograde in your sixth house of routines and daily life. It’s time to ask whether the way you’re spending your days actually supports the life you want. Not everything needs an immediate answer. Some things just need your attention.

Gemini (May 21 to June 20). Your sixth house of work, wellness, and everyday routines is active, and Mercury, your ruling planet, is retrograde there. If something in your schedule isn’t working, this is your invitation to reconsider it. Venus retrograde in your fifth house is also asking you to reconnect with creativity, romance, and the things that make life feel good. Joy isn’t a reward you earn by finishing your to-do list. Friday’s Mercury-Mars square could bring tension around communication. Slow down before responding. Your nervous system will thank you.

Cancer (June 21 to July 22). Scorpio season is lighting up your fifth house of creativity, romance, and pleasure. Mercury retrograde may bring an old passion, creative idea, or romantic question back into your awareness. Meanwhile, Venus retrograde in your fourth house is asking you to revisit what home means to you. Maybe it’s a physical space. Maybe it’s a person. Maybe it’s finally feeling comfortable in your own company. The Full Moon may have clarified something about friendships or community. This week, come back to what makes you feel alive.

Leo (July 23 to August 22). With Mars and Jupiter moving through your sign, there’s plenty of energy pushing you toward growth, confidence, and self-expression. But Scorpio season is drawing your attention inward, toward your fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundations. Mercury retrograde may reopen an old family conversation, while Venus retrograde in your third house asks you to reconsider how you’re communicating. Friday could bring a moment when pride gets louder than understanding. Winning the conversation and being heard are not always the same thing. Sometimes being heard begins with listening.

Virgo (August 23 to September 22). Your third house of communication is especially active, with the Sun and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. Words carry weight this week, particularly the ones you’ve been holding back. An old conversation may return, or you may finally find the language for something you’ve struggled to express. Venus retrograde in your second house is also inviting you to reconsider your relationship with money, self-worth, and what you value. You are allowed to change your mind. You are also allowed to ask for more.

Libra (September 23 to October 22). Venus is your ruling planet, and she’s retrograde in your sign. This is personal. Your relationship with yourself, your identity, your desires, and the way you show up in relationships are all under review. Wednesday’s opposition between Venus and Chiron could touch an old wound around feeling chosen, seen, or valued. Meanwhile, Scorpio season is activating your second house of money and self-worth. Here’s the reminder: your value isn’t determined by how much you give, how much you accomplish, or how well you keep everyone else happy. You get to choose yourself, too.

Scorpio (October 23 to November 21). Welcome to your season. The Sun is moving through your first house, and Mercury retrograde is asking you to take another look at who you are and who you’re becoming. This isn’t about reinventing yourself overnight. It’s about recognizing which parts of your identity still feel true and which ones you’ve outgrown. Venus retrograde in your twelfth house may bring old feelings, memories, or relationship patterns to the surface. Friday’s Mercury-Mars square could create tension between your personal needs and public responsibilities. Transformation does not need to be announced. Just live it.

Sagittarius (November 22 to December 21). Your twelfth house is illuminated by the Sun and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, making this a particularly introspective week. Dreams, memories, and quiet realizations may carry more meaning than usual. Venus retrograde in your eleventh house is also inviting you to reconsider friendships, communities, and the dreams you’ve been building toward. Are you still moving toward something you genuinely want, or something an older version of you wanted? Give yourself permission to outgrow the plan. Not every change needs an announcement while it’s still taking shape.

Capricorn (December 22 to January 19). Scorpio season is activating your eleventh house of friendships, community, and future plans. Mercury retrograde may reconnect you with an old collaborator or bring a group dynamic back into focus. Venus retrograde in your tenth house of career and public life is asking you to reconsider what success means to you now. Is the version you’re chasing still yours? Wednesday may highlight tension between your professional ambitions and personal foundations. Your goals do not have to go. They just might need redefining.

Aquarius (January 20 to February 18). Your tenth house of career, purpose, and public life is illuminated, and Mercury retrograde is encouraging you to revisit a professional decision or conversation. Something you thought was settled may need another look. Venus retrograde in your ninth house is also asking you to reconsider your beliefs, your bigger vision, and the possibilities you’ve been telling yourself are out of reach. With Pluto continuing its long journey through your sign, personal reinvention is an ongoing process. You don’t need to have the entire future mapped out to take your next step.

Pisces (February 19 to March 20). The Sun and Mercury retrograde are moving through your ninth house of philosophy, travel, spirituality, and the bigger questions. Something you once believed may be asking for an update. Venus retrograde in your eighth house brings attention to intimacy, trust, and the ways you share yourself with others. Wednesday could stir something tender around worthiness or financial independence. Not every mystery needs solving this week. Some answers arrive when you stop demanding them. Trust your curiosity, and give yourself room to see things differently.

A practice for the week

With Mercury and Venus both retrograde, this is a beautiful week to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters.

If you want something small to carry with you, try these three questions, one per day.

  • Tuesday: What have I been pretending not to know?
  • Wednesday: Where am I holding on too tightly?
  • Thursday: What is love asking me to see?

Then, sometime over the weekend, create a quiet moment for remembrance.

Light a candle. Just one.

Think of someone who has passed, someone you miss, or even a version of yourself you’ve had to leave behind.

Say something to them, out loud or in your head. Maybe it’s thank you. Maybe it’s I miss you. Maybe it’s something you’ve been carrying for years.

Sit with whatever comes up. There is no right way to do this.

When you’re ready, gently blow out the candle.

That’s the whole practice.

Because sometimes connection isn’t about finding something new. It’s about remembering the love that’s already there.
