Your Weekly Cosmic Forecast: June 30-July 6, 2026

Yesterday was one of the loudest cosmic days of the entire year. A Capricorn Full Moon, Mercury stationing retrograde in Cancer, and Jupiter ingressing into Leo all stacked on top of each other. If you felt it, you felt it. This week is the wake of that. The dust, the clarity, the texts you may or may not still want to send by Friday. Treat the first half like a debrief and the second half like a wide-open window. Next week settles. This week we walk into the room the Full Moon opened.

The energy of the week:

Mercury retrograde is in Cancer now and will be all month. This is the homecoming retrograde. The one that wants you to call your mom, finish the half-written text, re-read the old journal, soften the way you talk to yourself. It is moody and tender and useful. Slow your replies. Reread before you send.

Jupiter is in its first full week in Leo, and the room is already warmer. Jupiter in Leo for the next year wants you bigger, brighter, more visible, more playful, more main-character. If you have been shrinking, this is the year you stop. You do not have to perform anything yet. Just notice if your voice gets a little louder in the next few days.

Sun in Cancer keeps the whole week soft around the edges. Venus is still in Cancer until Saturday, July 4, when she steps into Leo and the romance turns up the dial. Right on the heels of that, Mars in Gemini conjoins Uranus in Gemini on July 3 and 4, which is the headline aspect of the week. Expect quick conversations, unexpected pivots, a yes that arrives faster than you planned, and at least one idea that wakes you up in the middle of the night. Mars then sextiles Neptune on July 4 and trines Pluto on July 5, which softens the lightning and gives it somewhere useful to go. Pluto is still retrograde in Aquarius, quietly composting what no longer holds.

By the time we get to the Last Quarter Moon in Aries on Monday July 6, you will know what is asking to be released.

This is a soft, electric, opening kind of week.

Your week ahead by sign:

Aries (March 21-April 19): Mercury retrograde is lighting up your fourth house, which is the part of the chart that knows the names of your childhood neighbors and what your mom's kitchen smelled like on a Sunday. The Last Quarter Moon in your own sign on Monday July 6 asks what you are ready to let go of. Mars and Uranus are activating your third all week, so quick conversations, fast yeses, and one big idea. If a family member calls out of the blue, pick up. This is the week for that.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your third house, which means conversations, messages, and small daily talk are where the action lives. Slow down before you send. Reread before you reply. Mars and Uranus light up your second house mid-week, which can bring an unexpected money pivot or a sudden clarity about what you actually want to be spending your energy on. Jupiter into Leo settles into your fourth for the year. Your home is about to feel like the most important room in your life.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Mars and Uranus are sitting on your first house all week, perfecting July 3 and 4, and you can feel it. You are caffeinated by the universe. Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your second, so money, values, and what you actually want to spend your energy on are up for review. Move slow with big purchases. Move fast with the idea that woke you up Wednesday. This is your portal week. Walk through it.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): This is your season and also your reckoning. Sun is in your first, Mercury stations retrograde in your first, and the wake of the Capricorn Full Moon is still echoing in your seventh house of partnerships. Translation: you in the mirror, you in your relationships, you deciding which version of you is actually walking forward from here. Venus is in your first until Saturday, which is a love letter to yourself if you let it be. Be gentle. Be honest. This is the cosmic invitation to come home to who you are.

Leo (July 23-August 22): Jupiter just walked into your first house for the next year, Leo. You are about to become very, very visible. The Sun and Mercury retrograde are still in your twelfth though, so the week itself wants quiet. Dreams, naps, behind-the-scenes work, the inner research before the public bloom. Venus enters your sign on Saturday and from then on you are softer and more magnetic at the same time. Rest now. The big stage is coming. You do not need to push the door open. It is already opening.

Virgo (August 23-September 22): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your eleventh, which is the house of friends, community, and the long game. Old friends may resurface. A group chat may need an honest answer. Mars and Uranus light up your tenth this week, so an unexpected career conversation or a sudden idea about your public direction is very on the table. Jupiter into Leo settles into your twelfth for the next year, which is a deep, quiet integration year. Trust the slow.

Libra (September 23-October 22): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your tenth, so career and public reputation are the field this week. Old work conversations may circle back. A boss or mentor may reach out. Mars and Uranus light up your ninth this week, so a travel idea, a course, or a bigger-picture pivot may land suddenly. Jupiter into Leo lights up your eleventh, which means your community is about to grow in ways you did not predict.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your ninth house, which is the part of the chart that wants meaning, travel, study, the bigger picture. This is a good week to revisit a book you abandoned or a city you keep dreaming about. Mars and Uranus light up your eighth at the weekend, which can bring a sudden shift around shared money, intimacy, or something inherited. Jupiter into Leo opens your tenth for a year of expansion in your career and public life. Quiet decisions now. Loud results later.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your eighth, the house of shared resources, intimacy, and the things you do not say in casual conversation. This is the depth week. Mars and Uranus in your seventh at the weekend can bring a partnership surprise, romantic or business, an unexpected yes or a sudden honest conversation. Jupiter into Leo lights up your ninth for the next year, which is your home turf. Travel, learning, the bigger view. Start the list.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19): You are still in the wake of Monday's Full Moon in your first, which may have surfaced something personal, emotional, or weirdly clarifying. Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your seventh, so partnerships and one-on-ones are where the work is. An old conversation with a partner, business or romantic, may need a do-over. Be kind in the rewrite. You are not the same person who first said those words.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your sixth, which is the body, the routine, the daily small stuff that runs your life. This is the week to fix the thing you have been ignoring. The squeaky drawer. The lab work. The morning that has not been working. Mars and Uranus light up your fifth this week, so an unexpected creative spark, a flirtation, or a playful pull is on the menu. Pluto is still retrograde in your sign, slow-cooking a long quiet transformation. You do not have to know what it is yet.

Pisces (February 19-March 20): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your fifth, the house of creativity, romance, play, and joy. This is a tender, sweet week for the artist in you. Re-open the abandoned project. Text the person. Mars and Uranus in your fourth at the weekend may shake something loose at home, with family, or in the deeper feeling of where you actually live. Jupiter into Leo lights up your sixth for the year, which is a slow rebuild of your routines, your wellness, your work. Start small.

A practice for the week:

Three questions, one each morning, in order. Tuesday: what is one thing my body has been trying to tell me that I keep talking over. Wednesday: what is one person I have been meaning to call. Thursday: what is one structure in my life that does not fit anymore.

Then, on Saturday or Sunday, give yourself thirty minutes with no input. No phone, no music, no book. Just sit somewhere you can see the sky, even if it is a window. Let whatever has been buzzing underneath finally surface. You do not have to do anything about it yet. You just have to let it be heard. That is the whole practice.
