Your Weekly Cosmic Forecast: July 7-13, 2026

A thin wave receding on pale sand at golden hour, one small pink shell resting at the water's edge

Last week was the electric one. Mars conjunct Uranus in Gemini rewired somebody's Wednesday, Jupiter settled into Leo and made the room a little warmer, and Venus was still handing out romance in Cancer. This week is the exhale after that lightning. Slower on the surface, deeper underneath. By the weekend the pace picks up again, and by next Tuesday we walk into a Cancer New Moon that is going to want us to name something we have been avoiding naming. So use these seven days accordingly. This is the week to feel what last week set off.

The energy of the week:

Sun is still in Cancer, and the whole week has that Cancer softness around the edges. Home, family, memory, the tender inner life. Mercury retrograde in Cancer is still asking you to slow your replies, reread before you send, and forgive the version of you who did not know what she knows now.

The big story of the week opens the very first morning. Neptune stations retrograde in Aries on Tuesday July 7. When an outer planet stations, the day itself tends to feel a little dreamy, a little foggy, a little lost in the sauce. Do not schedule anything you have to be sharp for on Tuesday if you can help it. Take a nap. Take a bath. Let the fog be information.

Venus is in Leo through Wednesday, then steps into Virgo on Thursday July 9. The love language of the week shifts from grand gesture to small, careful, real. From "look at me" to "look what I noticed about you." Then Venus meets the South Node on Friday July 10, which can bring an old love, an old friend, or an old ache to the surface. Let it visit. Do not sign a lease with it.

Mars is still in Gemini, cooled down from last week's Uranus fireworks and quietly moving conversations forward. On Sunday July 12, Sun meets Mercury retrograde at 20 degrees Cancer, which is the cazimi of this retrograde, the heart of it, and often the day the message finally lands. Something you have been circling for two weeks will click. Then Monday July 13, Venus squares Uranus, and the day has a plot twist inside it. A surprise text, an unexpected feeling, a sudden shift in what you want.

Pluto is still retrograde in Aquarius, quietly composting what no longer holds. And underneath everything, the Cancer New Moon on Tuesday July 14 is building. You will feel the pressure to name it before it arrives.

This is a soft, foggy, and honest kind of week.

Your week ahead by sign:

Aries (March 21-April 19): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your fourth house all week, which is the part of the chart that knows your mother's phone number by heart and remembers the smell of your childhood kitchen. Neptune stationing retrograde in your first house on Tuesday can leave you a little dreamy and a little unsure of who you are becoming. Let it. Venus moves out of your fifth and into your sixth on Thursday, which brings the love story home to the small daily rhythms. If a family member has been on your mind, that is the phone call. Answer it or make it.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): The Moon is in your first house through Wednesday evening, which is the softest possible landing after last week. Sun and Mercury retrograde are still in your third, so text conversations, sibling dynamics, and the small daily talk are where the review is happening. Reread before you send. Venus moves into your fifth on Thursday, which turns the romance up on creativity, flirting, and any project you have been circling. The cazimi on Sunday can bring a clear message about how you actually want to be communicating from here.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Mars is still in your first house, but the caffeination of last week has settled into something more usable. Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your second, so the review is about money, values, and where your energy has been going that does not feel like yours. Venus moves into your fourth on Thursday, which softens the home, the family, the physical space you live in. If you have been meaning to rearrange something, this is the week. The Venus square Uranus on Monday can bring a small plot twist in your household. Roll with it.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): This is your week and also your homecoming. Sun and Mercury retrograde are both in your first house, and Sunday's cazimi is the emotional peak of this whole retrograde for you personally. You will finally hear the thing you have been almost hearing for two weeks. Venus in your second house through Wednesday keeps the focus on what you actually value, then she moves into your third on Thursday and the love turns into small, kind, everyday words. Neptune stationing retrograde in your tenth on Tuesday can blur your career picture a little. That is on purpose. The Cancer New Moon next Tuesday is going to want you to name what you are choosing. Use this week to feel it out.

Leo (July 23-August 22): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your twelfth house, and honestly, this whole week is a rest week for you. Dreams, naps, quiet time, the inner work before the outer bloom. Venus is in your first through Wednesday, which is her final love letter to you before she moves into your second on Thursday and turns the focus toward what you value and how you want to be resourced. The Venus square Uranus on Monday can bring a sudden idea about money or self-worth. Jupiter is still fresh in your first house for the year. You do not have to know the plan yet. Just notice that the room is warmer.

Virgo (August 23-September 22): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your eleventh house, which is the house of friends, community, and the long game. Old friends may resurface this week. A group chat may need an honest answer. Venus enters your first house on Thursday July 9, which is the beginning of a love-yourself season for you. Wear the thing. Book the appointment. Say yes to the compliment. The Venus square Uranus on Monday can bring an unexpected feeling about someone you thought you had figured out.

Libra (September 23-October 22): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your tenth house, so career and public reputation are the field this week. Old work conversations may loop back. A former boss or mentor may reach out. Venus moves into your twelfth on Thursday, which is a very tender, private, behind-the-scenes love season. Do not perform anything this week. Let the real thing happen quietly. Neptune stationing retrograde in your seventh on Tuesday can bring a little fog to a partnership. Ask again before you assume.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your ninth house, which is meaning, travel, study, the bigger picture. This is a good week to reopen a book you abandoned or revisit a city you keep dreaming about. Venus enters your eleventh on Thursday, which sweetens friendships and any group you are part of. The cazimi on Sunday can bring a clear insight about what you actually believe from here. Pluto retrograde is still doing quiet transformation work in your fourth house. Trust the slow.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your eighth house, which is the depth zone, the shared money zone, the intimacy zone. Something private is being reviewed. Venus enters your tenth on Thursday, which brings a lovely, warm attention to your career and public work. People will be looking. Let them. Mars is still in your seventh, which can bring conversations with a partner, romantic or business, that finally get somewhere honest.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your seventh house, the house of partnerships. Old conversations with a partner, business or romantic, may need a do-over. Be kind in the rewrite. You are not the same person who first said those words. Venus moves into your ninth on Thursday, which is a beautiful transit for travel, study, or falling in love with an idea. The cazimi on Sunday can bring a clear message about who you actually want across from you.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your sixth, which is the body, the routine, the daily small stuff that runs your life. This is the week to fix the thing you have been ignoring. The squeaky drawer. The lab work. The morning that has not been working. Venus enters your eighth on Thursday, which can deepen intimacy or bring a conversation about shared resources. Pluto retrograde is still in your first house, slow-cooking a long quiet transformation. You do not have to know what it is yet.

Pisces (February 19-March 20): Sun and Mercury retrograde are in your fifth, the house of creativity, romance, play, and joy. Reopen the abandoned project. Text the person. Venus enters your seventh on Thursday, which turns the light on relationships in a soft, discerning way. Neptune stationing retrograde in your second on Tuesday can leave your sense of money and worth a little foggy for a couple of days. Do not make big financial decisions on Tuesday. Wait until the fog lifts.

A practice for the week:

Three questions, one each morning, in order. Tuesday: what is one thing I have been almost saying to myself for a while. Wednesday: what does the softest, kindest voice in me actually want. Thursday: what is one small daily rhythm that would make me feel more like me.

Then, on Saturday or Sunday, before Sunday's cazimi, take twenty minutes with a piece of paper and a pen. No phone. Write, at the top, the sentence you have been avoiding writing. Then let the rest of the page be whatever wants to come after it. You do not have to show anyone. You do not have to do anything with it. You just have to let the thing be said, in your own handwriting, in your own house. That is the whole practice.
