Add every digit:
3 + 1 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 27

Then reduce:

One rule. If while you are reducing you land on 11, 22, or 33 before you get to a single digit, stop there. Those are called master numbers, and they stay whole in numerology.
